What if the way people see you could change… without you changing at all?
Watch this for a second.
The two people aren’t moving.
Only the colors inside them are. Yet your brain sees motion.
That’s the power of perception.
The same thing happens in portrait photography.
The person standing in front of my camera doesn’t need to become more confident, more photogenic, or more outgoing.
By changing the light, the composition, the background, and capturing the right moment, people start to see them differently.
Not because they’re pretending to be someone else.
Because the portrait finally reflects who they already are.
That’s what I love most about photography.
Helping people see themselves the way others can, when nothing gets in the way.
PS: don’t believe me? Try blinking fast!
