I spent a long time not knowing what I was for. Years of good jobs that paid the bills and never once felt like mine.
What I eventually worked out is that most people carry a version of that. They're good at what they do and half-convinced it doesn't really count for much. I know that feeling from the inside, which is why I point a camera at it.
Done properly, a photo shows you the work you'd stopped noticing. The skill, the years, the part that turned invisible because to you it's just a Tuesday. It's still there in the frame, and seeing it tends to change how you talk about what you do.
So I ask before I shoot. I want to understand what you've built and why it matters to you, and the photos come out of that conversation. I found my purpose in showing people theirs. That's the whole reason Stone Wolf exists.
If you've built something you believe in, around Macarthur or greater Sydney, send me a message.
