A selection of my favorite shots from Venice. After a long business trip, it felt good to have a couple of days off and head out with the camera again. I was a bit sceptical about Venice at first, but the city slowly revealed some of its more beautiful sides.

Some highlights from our annual Sony Benelux Kando Trip! This year we headed north with an incredible group of filmmakers and photographers to explore the Finnish Lapland. Hiking through snowy landscapes, shooting winter sports & riding snowmobiles.

During the trip we had the pleasure of welcoming Magnus Winbjörk, who shared his knowledge on aurora photography. The cherry on top was capturing the most impressive aurora I’ve seen to date while flying back to the Netherlands.

In June I spent a couple of days in San Francisco during my road trip through California! Loved exploring the city and capturing its streets. With my background in Civil Engineering, seeing the Golden Gate Bridge up close was especially impressive. 🌉

Some shots from my recent trip to Ireland with . On our last day, we squeezed in a street photography session in Dublin. The people, the golden light, and a pint of Guinness made it the perfect way to end the trip! 🇮🇪

When the Sony Alpha 1 Mark II was launched, I put it to the test with some wildlife photography! Paired with my Sony 300mm GM lens, I was lucky to have a close encounter with a fox. This was only the second time I’ve seen wild foxes in the Netherlands, but this shot is definitely my favorite so far! 🦊

Waking up in Parma! 🇮🇹

When I was in Italy in June, I was excited to visit Parma to try the original Prosciutto ham and Parmigiano cheese. When I arrived, I was surprised by how beautiful the city was, so after an amazing dinner in a local restaurant I woke up early the next morning to capture the city! 📸

In July, I spent a weekend in Lisbon with my friends. Of course, I couldn’t leave my camera at home. On the last day, after a short night’s sleep, I got up early to explore the city at sunrise while everyone else was still sleeping! 🌅📸

This trip was one for the books, grateful for these memories with the best crew! 🍻🕺🏽

Streets of Doha! 🇶🇦

In February, I had the opportunity to visit Qatar for the World Aquatics Championships. When I wasn’t working, I was out exploring and capturing life in Doha! I really liked visiting the old town with the tradional markets as well as seeing the amazing skyline at night! 🌃
