Can you spot him? 👀

80 meters away, behind barbed wire, camera on tripod.
I stood there for 45 minutes, staring at this old barn window. Nothing. Just bricks and dust.

I almost walked away. And then... one little owl peeked out. Staring right back at me. A few seconds later, there were two.
That’s the magic of wildlife photography. You wait, you wait, and then nature rewards you.

“Autumn owl”

Maybe it’s nice to let you see how the setting of this tawny owl was and how I used my space to get better photographs.

I think that everybody that knows my work can tell that I love close-ups.

But sometimes it’s better to create more distance and use the leafs of the trees to make a photograph better.

Like I did in this case. The leafs of the trees where like a natural frame and brighten the surrounding of the owl.
