Our 4Aviation group has been in the USA for a few days now and is thoroughly enjoying the hundreds of aeroplanes they get to see and photograph every day at the EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh.

Pitch Black 2026 has started and our group was there to witness the first sorties. A very active day with a large variety of air forces taking part!

Whilst our group from the UK has returned safely, our group in Australia has crossed the country from Sydney to Darwin and is looking forward to a wonderful week there ahead of the start of the Pitch Black 26 exercise. But we’re not there yet! Another group has crossed the Atlantic and arrived safely in Chicago to enjoy a week at the EAA AirVenture in Oshkosh. 4Aviation activities on three continents this weekend!

Another varied day for our 4Aviation group in the UK, happy faces al around!

The guys in Australia ended up in Nowra (HMAS Albatross) for the operational stuff and the museum, and visited the HARS Aviation Museum today. Chopper bases are always tricky, but they managed to capture a number of the choppers that took to the air.
