All SIGMA products are 100% made in Japan, from the magnesium alloy up to the very molds of the screws. Since the manufacturing chain is completely in our own hands, we can proudly say that we do not allow any compromise in any part of the production process. In our relentless search for perfection in build quality, we find many times that the best way to do something, is to do it by hand. Like the “Classic” logo, which is hand painted with actual gold paint in a technique we call “Aizu- nuri” or “Aizu-lacquering”, the only technique that would ensure a lifetime of durability.
