When daylight disappears, the real fun with light begins.
During our Light Painting workshop at the impressive Landschaftspark Duisburg, we discover what happens when you leave the shutter open just a little longer. From capturing the blue hour to painting with moving light: shutter speed, movement and creativity come together to create images the naked eye could never see in quite the same way.

Zodra het daglicht verdwijnt, begint het spelen met licht.
Tijdens onze Lightpaint workshop in het indrukwekkende Landschaftspark Duisburg ontdekken we wat er gebeurt wanneer je de sluiter nét wat langer open laat staan. Van fotograferen tijdens het blauwe uur tot schilderen met bewegend licht: met sluitertijd, beweging en een beetje creativiteit ontstaan beelden die je met het blote oog nooit zo zou kunnen zien.

A few more nights. Then we’re off!
In a few days we board the plane to Kenya!

One photo tour. Two documentaries.
One mission: to share what the Maasai has taught me, and to give back to them, so more children like Seyianoi get the chance to go to school.

Everything we’ve shared comes together now: Kamurar and his world, Seyianoi and her school. And from here on we’re taking you with us, straight from Kenya, as it happens.

Our crowdfunding campaign is still running! Every contribution helps us share their stories, with part of it going directly to The Nairoshi Foundation. We are very grateful for what we have achieved so far, thank you to all😊🙌

This is Seyianoi.

The Nairoshi Foundation makes sure children from the Maasai community can go to school, children who otherwise wouldn’t get that chance. Seyianoi is one of them. Through the foundation I support her education and get to stand alongside her on her journey.

Our documentary follows her. What does her day look like, at home and at school? What does she dream of? And what changes for her future now that she’s getting an education?

Our crowdfunding campaign is live! Part of every contribution goes straight to The Nairoshi Foundation, so more children like Seyianoi can go to school. Big or small, it all counts, and if you can’t contribute, sharing this post helps just as much.
