Yesterday, a large portion of the northern hemisphere had the chance to watch a spectacular natural phenomenon: the northern lights (aurora borealis). 🤩

Personally, I've been pursuing it since May of this year. I downloaded the Aurora app, followed it diligently, and waited rather impatiently. 🤭

Last night and into this morning, the wait was absolutely worth it. It was an incredible display of colors and shapes. Here are some of my pictures. 😉

P.S.: Taken with my mobile phone, in night mode. I find it completely unnecessary to make any edits, so no editing whatsoever. 😉

We have been in the Bretagne region for 10 days. This is Mont Saint-Michel. When I get back home, I will slowly work on aaaaaaall my more than 1,000 pictures taken in this amazing region of France.

Every year in August the Keukenhof Castle, in Lisse, The Netherlands, has a Dahlia exposition. Every year an spectacle of colors. Very, very beautiful gardens. 🥰

Yesterday we were warned by Corné Ouwehand Fotografie that there was a chance of Noctilucent clouds. And it happened. What an amazing show in the sky. I'm glad I was still awake. This picture was made precisely on midnight, in Lisse, the Netherlands. 🥰

Another beautiful spring in the Netherlands, after a very long rainy season. Very glad to be again with my camera on the amazing gardens of Keukenhof, in Lisse. This is the first part of my Spring 2024 serie. I hope you all enjoy as much as I did. 🥰

For almost 3 years I have been struggling with panic and anxiety attacks and I haven't been photographing for a long time. Last week I went courageous to the Keukenhof Gardens to take pictures of that amazing place. One personal victory, and I want to share the results with you. ☺️

Sadly, because of the Covid-19 pandemic, KEUKENHOF GARDENS has postponed it's opening to 07 april, according to the restrictions imposed by the government on not having gatherings of more then 100 people 'till 06 april.
Personally I'm not going there this year to photograph. I want to protect my family from this disease.

Unfortunately, that's the awful reality we're living. Sad. Very sad. 😔

Tulip season is right around the corner. One very important thing to know is that in most of the fields IT'S NOT ALLOWED to enter among the flowers.
Every year the farmers have huge amounts of losse$ because people enter the fields and damage the tulips.

This picture was taken AT THE EDGE of the field. You can also make wonderful pictures at the edge. Respect the farmers, stay at the edge too. Be a nice person. 😉👊🏼🌷🌷🌷🌷

After a long time I'm back to my page. It has been a difficult time last year, since I've had a mysterious condition that affected my right hand, mainly. Luckily it's better now and I'm slowly going back to photography. 😉

This is my cat Bran being himself, absolutely crazy and funny. He bites his own paws while cleaning it. 🤣

I was hoping for some snow here in the Netherlands for me to photograph, but it seems that the global warming is spoiling my plans, since we're in the average 5 to 8°C. 😔

Therefore I hope the next 59 days to run fast, so I can photograph de amazing TULIPS season. 🌷

Sometimes you can make crazy things on your cell phone camera. In this photo of Samsung S9+ I used zoom effect on selective focus mode and then Cookie Cream color filter.

Unfortunately the railings of the balcony are also on the reflection. I'm on the balcony and Bran is inside.
