Chair
Are you organised and a good team player? Do you enjoy leading a group and helping others carry out their tasks? If so, you might just be the right person for the role of Chair of de Cycloop.

As Chair, it is your job to organise the general running of our association, keep track of deadlines and lead both de Cycloop and the board. You organise meetings and ensure that the rest of the board can carry out their tasks. The Chair is the face and head of our association. It is an essential role and he or she keeps the board together.

Treasurer
Are you good with numbers and do you have a strong analytical mind? Would you like to improve your financial management skills and gain experience in how finances work? Then the role of treasurer might be just the thing for you.
As treasurer, you’ll be responsible for the society’s finances, sending out invoices and keeping track of all financial matters. It’s a vital role on our board, and you don’t need to know a great deal about finance to fulfil this role. The workload is also very manageable, with peaks at the start and in the middle of the year.

Secretary
Are you good at communicating and writing, and do you enjoy it? Are you organised and methodical? If so, you might be the right person to be our next secretary.
As secretary, you’ll be responsible for de Cycloop’s email and membership management. You’ll also keep track of our events (such as galas), find photographers for them, and handle external communications. The role of secretary involves one main task that you can easily carry out at a time that suits you.

Internal External Commissioner
Do you enjoy interacting with people and promoting things you’re passionate about? Are you creative and open-minded? Then this might be the role for you!
As Internal/External Commissioner, you’ll be responsible for the website, our Instagram and promotional material in general, including our fantastic monthly newsletter. You’ll also work alongside our committees, such as the Accie, to help organise the great activities we put on. It’s a role offering plenty of variety and flexibility. You can let your creativity run wild and bring your own fresh ideas to de Cycloop.

Heb je een hart voor fotografie en voel je je goed binnen de gemeenschap van De Cycloop? Dan is dit misschien iets voor jou! We zijn op zoek naar enthousiaste leden die een jaar willen meedenken en meebouwen in het bestuur.

Als bestuurslid krijg je de kans om richting te geven aan de vereniging, nieuwe ideeën uit te werken en een directe impact te hebben op wat De Cycloop organiseert en bereikt. Een mooie manier om nog meer uit je lidmaatschap te halen én de vereniging verder te laten groeien.
Bovendien is het een geweldige manier om ervaring op te doen en je cv een boost te geven.

Do you have a passion for photography and feel at home within the De Cycloop community? Then this might be just the thing for you! We’re looking for enthusiastic members who’d like to spend a year contributing ideas and helping to shape the club as part of the Board.

As a Board member, you’ll have the chance to help steer the association, develop new ideas and have a direct impact on what De Cycloop organises and achieves. It’s a great way to get even more out of your membership and help the association grow further.
What’s more, it’s also a fantastic way to gain experience and give your CV a boost.

Het Framemagazine makes a comeback en we hebben jou hulp nodig! Om het tijdschrift nog meer te vullen met foto's willen we de Cycloop community er bij betrekken en ieders unieke stijl vast te leggen in het magazine. Als thema hebben we gekozen voor Zwoele Zomeravond, hopelijk inspireert het en brengt het alvast de zomer vibes!
Stuur je foto voor 26 me op naar [email protected] en vermeld je naam/insta handle (als je dat wilt) in je bericht, zodat je de juiste credit krijgt in het magazine!

The Framemagazine is making a comeback and we need your help! To fill the magazine even more with photo's we want to involve the Cycloop Community and capture everyones unique style in the magazine. The theme for the collage is Sultry Summer Evening, hopefully it inspires and brings the summer vibes early!

Deze maandelijkse challenge is iets vrijer dan onze gebruikelijke challenge.

Zoals de titel al zegt: "Alles kan een albumhoes zijn". Laat je creativiteit de vrije loop en maak foto’s die je zouden verleiden om het album in je kamer neer te zetten. De natuur, mensen, kleuren, wat je maar kunt bedenken.

This monthly challenge is a bit more free than our usual ones. As the title says "Anything can be an Albumcover".

Let your creativity run free and and take the pictures that would entice you to display the Album in your room. Nature, People, Colours, whatever you can imagine.

Om optimaal te kunnen genieten van het feit dat de zon eindelijk weer een beetje schijnt, hebben we tal van activiteiten in en buiten de deur gepland.

Misschien heb je al meegedaan aan de voorjaarswandeling of ga je vanavond naar de Cycloop-avond. Of misschien overweeg je om een bestuursjaar te doen en wil je vragen stellen tijdens de bestuurslunch (je kunt ook gewoon komen voor de gratis lunch)

De winter is nu voorbij en de zon schijnt eindelijk weer(af en toe). Zin in een pauze na een lange dag binnen zitten en studeren? Kom dan tijdens je lunchpauze naar de Cycloop Lunch Picnic in Park Brakkenstein, vlak achter EOS. Iedereen neemt mee wat hij of zij wil eten of drinken, en samen kunnen we ervan genieten.

Bestuurs Interesse Lunch, met GRATIS LUNCH!

Vind je het leuk om lid te zijn van De Cycloop en wil je meer betrokken raken bij wat we doen? Ben je dol op fotografie en de gemeenschap van onze vereniging? Zo ja, heb je er dan wel eens over nagedacht om een jaar in het bestuur van De Cycloop te gaan zitten, waar je onze vereniging kunt helpen bloeien en daadwerkelijk de beslissingen kunt nemen die bepalend zijn voor wat we doen?

Als je ook maar de minste interesse hebt (of gewoon zin hebt in een gratis lunch), kom dan naar de Bestuurslunch op 26 mei in onze bestuurskamer onder EOS tijdens de lunchpauze. Daar kun je genieten van een gratis lunch en ons, het huidige bestuur, alle vragen stellen die je hebt, en ontdekken hoe een bestuursjaar er eigenlijk uitziet. (Spoiler: het is leuk)

Er zijn geen verplichtingen verbonden aan het bijwonen van de lunch, je kunt ook gewoon voor het eten komen. :)

Do you like being a member of De Cycloop and want to me more involved in what we do? Do you love Photography and the community of our association . If so ,have you ever considered doing a Board year for De Cycloop where you could help our association thrive and actually make the decisions that shape what we do?

If you have even the vaguest interest(or just want a free lunch), you can come join us at the Board Interest Lunch onm the 26th of May in our Boardroom below EOS in the lunchbreak. There you can enjoy a free lunch and asl us, the current Board any questions you may have, and learn what a Board year for assocition is actually like. (Spoiler: It's fun)

Coming to the Lunch does not come with strings attached, you could also just come for the food. :)
