In the Atlas Mountains, tradition is still part of everyday life. 🌿

Inside the villages scattered across Morocco’s Atlas Mountains, argan has long been more than an ingredient. The nuts are collected, cracked and ground by hand, following traditions passed down through generations.

Watching this process in person was a reminder that some of Morocco’s most fascinating stories aren’t found in its cities or monuments — they live in the hands of the people who keep these traditions alive.

👞 The Slippers of Marrakech

Walk through the souks of Marrakech and you’ll quickly notice them — rows upon rows of colourful **babouches**, Morocco’s traditional leather slippers.

Handcrafted by local artisans, they come in almost every colour and style imaginable. The reason they look so wonderfully chaotic? In the narrow souks, shops often display their entire collection outside, turning the streets into a sea of leather, colour, and patterns.

It may look chaotic… but somehow, that’s part of the charm of Marrakech. 🇲🇦✨

Koutoubia Mosque 🕌 | Marrakech, Morocco 🇲🇦

Standing proudly in the heart of Marrakech, the Koutoubia Mosque is one of the city’s most iconic landmarks. Built in the 12th century, its famous minaret has become a symbol of Marrakech and an important example of Almohad architecture.

The mosque is still an active place of worship, so non-Muslim visitors cannot enter the interior. However, you can admire its beautiful architecture and minaret from the surrounding gardens and streets—a true symbol of the Red City. 🇲🇦✨
