This beautiful couple came to my studio to create photos for their wedding invitations 💍🤍

It was such a pleasure to photograph and her fiancé during this special chapter before their wedding day.

I love when a photoshoot becomes part of something bigger - not just portraits, but a little piece of their wedding story 🥰

We created something romantic, intimate and elegant in my private studio in Rotterdam. Soft light, closeness, quiet emotions, and a few moments that will soon become part of their invitation cards.

My studio is located in the centre of Rotterdam, close to Beurs metro station - a cozy private space for couple shoots, engagement photos and romantic portraits.

Two little boys turning one 🥹🎂

Their mom baked the cake herself.
We met in the park with bubbles, balloons and a tiny smash cake setup made with so much love 🤍

No professional models.
No perfect posing.
Just a real family celebrating one of those moments that passes way too fast.

I think this is exactly why I love family photography so much.

Years later, these photos will not just be “beautiful pictures”.
They will remind them:
how small their boys were,
how they looked at each other,
how chaotic and sweet this season of life felt ✨

And honestly?
Children never need to “pose perfectly”.
They only need space to play, explore, laugh and be themselves 🤍

Portrait for a writer ✍️📝📖🪶

There’s something very special about photographing someone at the beginning of a new creative chapter.
