You might recognize this guy... 👀

Before stepping on stage for one of his three sold-out shows in Amsterdam, I had the chance to shoot some portraits of Josh Johnson

You might know him as one of the rotating hosts of The Daily Show, or from his weekly stand-up sets on YouTube.

My personal favorite? His step-by-step breakdown of the Kendrick Lamar / Drake feud in 2024, somehow turning one of the biggest moments in hip hop into one of the funniest comedy bits I’ve ever seen. 🤣

Time for football! 🏈

Door mijn Amerikaanse roots heb ik altijd een zwak gehad voor American Football. Met twee kids en een onhandig tijdsverschil is het alleen wat lastiger geworden om alles nog actief te volgen. 😉

Toen ik de tegenkwam, begon het toch weer te kriebelen. Dus leek het me tof om , , en (met hulp én goedkeuring van coach ) uit te nodigen voor een studioshoot.

De Dominators staan inmiddels iets over de helft van het seizoen op een knappe tweede plek in de Eredivisie. Dus ze zijn lekker bezig! 💪

Dit soort shoots smaken naar meer. Werk jij met een team (sport of anders) en wil je beelden die net zo sterk zijn als je mensen? Laat het me weten!

Inês recently joined Brainboss, and I had the pleasure of welcoming her to the studio for her new headshots.

We had a great session, lots of laughs, and she even turned the tables by giving me some feedback on my own profile picture. According to her, I look a lot more serious (maybe even slightly angry!) than I actually am… and honestly, she might have a point.

So instead of taking yet another studio selfie, it’s probably time I practice what I preach and step in front of someone else’s camera. Because getting a natural, genuine smile out of yourself? That’s harder than it looks. 😉
