As the heat season for my girls is coming to an end, it’s time for an honest update.
This year, I had carefully selected an exceptional stud for my beloved 𝓝𝔂𝓼𝓼𝓪. When she came into season, circumstances changed, and I had only a few days to find an alternative of the same outstanding quality.
A promising Plan B was found, and thanks to the dedication of everyone involved, we even managed a last-minute breeding attempt. Despite all efforts from the owners, the dogs, and myself, nature had other plans. As a result, 𝓝𝔂𝓼𝓼𝓪 will not be welcoming a litter this year.
While I admit I was already dreaming about a new generation of “mini-Nyssas,” she seems completely unbothered and is enjoying life exactly as she always does.
For me, this is a reminder that responsible breeding is never about numbers— it is about making the right choices, maintaining the highest standards, and always putting quality first. Sometimes that means waiting a little longer for the perfect moment.
𝓝𝔂𝓼𝓼𝓪 remains everything I could wish for: a beautiful ambassador of her breed, both in the showring, racing field and in everyday life. Her journey is far from over, and I am excited for what the future will bring.
