And the Azores laugh in hydrangea. Where ever you look, there are hortensias.

The hydrangea is the national flower of the Azores. Blooming in shades of blue, fuchsia and white, they provide an explosion of colour. You really see them everywhere, as this plant used to be used as a hedge and partition between meadows. In particular, the island of Faial, the blue island of the Azores, dips into a blue-white hydrangea splendour from June to September.

Photography for children has many similarities with photography for adults: you have to think about cameras and focal lengths and how to hold and use the equipment properly. But the difference is that not all the criteria that adults follow are important for children. For children, it's less about following all the rules and more about running around, exploring and, above all, enjoying the experience of taking pictures.

"Photography should be fun"
Kids love to do their own thing, and often the best way for them to enjoy things is to explore them on their own terms. Photography is no different! They want to build their own relationship with the camera and discover their inner visualist.

Children see the world in their own way and with photography they can capture their vision and share it with us.

Welcome on Elvira Groot Photography. I am a photographer and teacher and I would like to combine both of my passions: photography and teaching.

Therefore, I developed a course concept especially for children which brings them to the next level of photography, other than taking snapshots for social media.
