Last Tuesday, and from the UK got married in Amsterdam. They, along with all their friends and family from the UK and Ireland, came over especially for their wedding, simply because the couple loves Amsterdam. They were the coolest, wittiest, funny as hell, stunning looking & sweetest couple…
They chose this incredible venue in the Amsterdam harbour, . One of the most beautiful places I ever photographed a wedding. And that means something, since I’ve been photographing weddings for 14 years and have shot over 300 of them.
Even after all these years, I still can’t believe how much I love this job. It is so special to be part of a day that is all about celebrating life, pausing to appreciate what we have, and focusing on joy, especially since life also brings its share of challenges.
To be part of this special day always lifts me up, and I go home with the most happy, bubbly feeling. I can’t believe how amazing my couples are, how well they treat me, and how much they welcome me into their midst, as if I’m their friend. This makes these days incredible and deeply enjoyable. I work these days really hard, because I don’t want to miss a single thing, since I know it’s all important. I always go home super tired, but super happy and with a full heart.
Already looking forward to the weddings of next year and the beautiful people they will bring into my life. Bookings are open for 2026! Gg
