This picture is taken from Waddendijk, on the west side of Terschelling. Waddendijk is a suitable place to cycle with view of Wadden Sea. The Wadden Sea has been declared a World Heritage Site because its unique and marvelous landscape.
It’s an incredibly beautiful cycle path, which you should absolutely not skip when you are visiting Terschelling....

Last weekend I found the magic tucked inside when I joined Dark Sky tour by . “It is really a beautiful miracle to feel the earth beneath your feet.” That’s my impression when I saw a magical starry sky at Dark Sky Park in Terschelling.

In 2015, the De Boschplaat nature reserve in Terschelling was awarded the designation Dark Sky Park by the International Dark Sky organization IDA, making it the first Dark Sky Park in the Netherlands. It means that there is virtually no light pollution and it is a preserved natural area for special animal and plant. The air is clean and everything is quietly presenting an unprecedented starry sky in clear weather. In all things of nature, this is something of the marvelous.

And again, the poetry of earth is never failed to amaze you....

When a picture speaks beautiful things...

The world still faces wreaking havoc, but could be an opportunity for the catalyst change. As an old saying goes, it’s good to look on the bright side of life.

So as we walk through difficult times, I am grateful for every small moment as they come. When I visited Oudenbosch Basilica, part of the magic experience lies in the sheer beauty of the setting: the breathtaking interior sight of the dome, the sweep of the spiral staircase, the panorama of the city. The beauty drives you out of the self for a moment. I have come to see how life is beautiful in all its colours and its simplicity. At the end that’s what makes life worthwhile.

Difficult and meaningful will always bring more satisfaction the easy and meaningless.

As the world still facing this continued pandemic, uncertainty on life surrounds us, never more so than today. We’re all different in how much uncertainty we can tolerate in life. Some people seem to enjoy taking risks and living unpredictable lives, while others find the randomness of life deeply distressing. But all of us have a limit, so do I.

So last weekend I was invited by and to enjoy Oudenbosch Basilica in Oudenbosch, Noord Brabant. Of course, we did all health protocol. I was mesmerized by the beauty of Oudenbosch Basilica. Turns out, the facade of Oudenbosch Basicila is replica of the Basilica of St. John Lateran. The nave and interior were modeled after St. Peter's Basilica

In all its beauty, I am drawn to the thought "When the world is running down, you make the best of what's still around." I am thankful, I am satisfied with this opportunity during the pandemic. At last, life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass. It's about learning how to dance in the rain. Stay safe, stay healthy.

Wij beseffen het niet altijd, maar Waterland regio is één van de mooiste en meest gevarieerde gebieden van Nederland. Dit gebied heeft ontzettend veel te bieden: van de beste musea, mooiste natuur en horeca gelegenheid.
En alles is dichtbij: je hoeft er de grens niet voor over te gaan. Uiteraard met inachtneming van de geldende maatregelen tegen de verspreiding van het coronavirus en zonder druk te veroorzaken op het openbaar vervoer en de publieke ruimte😄

Er is van alles te beleven in je eigen omgeving. Voor de beste musea, mooiste natuur en leukste tentjes hoef je de grens niet over. Afgelopen weekend bezocht ik prachtige stad Edam
