Some babies need a little time to warm up to having a camera around.

Not this guy.

The moment he got into the bath, he was already busy splashing, laughing, and fishing oranges out of the water.

Soon he’ll be walking. A few years from now, he won’t fit in this bath anymore.

Everything changes so quickly. Sometimes the smallest moments end up being the ones people miss the most.

A few weeks ago I packed my camera and crossed the border for a family photoshoot in Germany.

From the moment I gave the kites to the kids, there were no stopping them. They were laughing and running around, the parents joined in and it ended up being one of the most fun family outings and time spent together for them.

The kids will look back at these photos one day and remember the day their parents played with them instead of remembering the day they all had to stand still and smile for a photo.

Worth every kilometre.
