Some days feel less like work and more like spending a day with old friends. 🤍
E & M drove all the way from the UK to Lofoten in their camper van, with their little dog Bella along for the adventure. And after planning this day together for almost a year, when we finally met, it somehow felt like we already knew each other.
We started at the beautiful cabin they had rented for their wedding, where they got ready and shared their first look right there by the harbour. From there, we headed into the mountains for their ceremony — surrounded by lakes, peaks and that wild Lofoten landscape they had travelled so far to experience.
They had chosen a beautiful handfasting ceremony, and Bella was there for every part of it. 🐾
We went for a little hike, stopped for a picnic they had thoughtfully prepared, laughed, explored and simply enjoyed the day together.
And then we ended at Unstad Beach. The wind had other plans for our bonfire, but it didn’t matter. We put up the lights, watched the evening settle over the beach, and they had their first dance with the ocean and mountains around them.
It was one of those days filled with all the things I love most about elopements, adventure, intimacy, a little unpredictability, and so much love.
But more than anything, it was E & M themselves. The kindest, sweetest people, who made the whole day feel less like I was photographing a wedding and more like I was simply out adventuring in Lofoten with friends.
Thank you, E & M, for bringing me along for this one. And Bella, of course. 🤍
What a day. What a place. What a beautiful little adventure❤️

We were supposed to have a picnic outside.
Instead, Lofoten had other plans. 🌧️
So we brought the picnic inside.
This couple was staying in the most beautiful little rorbuer in Nusfjord, and suddenly our backup plan didn’t feel like a backup plan at all. They sat together on the floor and they opened letters from their families.

Sometimes the best parts of an elopement happen because Plan A doesn’t work❤️

A little glimpse back to a beautiful day in Lyngen. 🤍
Surrounded by the Lyngen Alps, the fjord, and the most incredible light, these two celebrated their love at Lyngen North.
A day filled with love, laughter, beautiful people, and those quiet little moments in between.
Here’s a little teaser from their elopement film — a few moments from a day I’ll remember for a long time❤️

There are elopement days where everything goes according to plan. And then there are days in Lofoten😂🌧️
This day was cold. The kind of cold where you question every life choice that led you to standing outside in the middle of Lofoten in autumn😂
The weather changed constantly. Plans had to change with it. And honestly? That’s part of why I love photographing elopements here.
Because an elopement isn’t about getting the perfect weather, the perfect light, or following an itinerary from beginning to end.
It’s about being willing to say, “Okay. What can we do instead?”
So we pivoted.
We changed plans. We found shelter. We made new plans as the day unfolded.
And somehow, the things that weren’t planned became some of my favourite parts of their day.
Because this wasn’t a styled shoot.
It was their actual elopement adventure in Lofoten.
And it was beautiful exactly as it was😍❤️

Not long ago, I found myself back in Cairo, attending, and having the honor of capturing, a beautiful and intimate wedding for someone I proudly call my little sister.
What makes this even more special is how it all began. Two years ago, I met this family completely by chance in a restaurant in Cairo. I was wearing a keffiyeh and because of that we started talking, and from that unexpected encounter grew something I could never have imagined: a family.
Since then, they have welcomed me into their lives with so much love, and through them I have gained four sisters who mean the world to me. Sisters not by blood, but by connection, trust, and countless shared moments.
To stand there and witness one of my little sisters celebrate such a beautiful chapter of her life was an incredible blessing. Watching her surrounded by love, happiness, and family filled my heart with so much gratitude.
Life has a beautiful way of bringing people together when you least expect it. What started as a random meeting became a bond I will cherish forever.
I am endlessly grateful for these four amazing sisters, for the love they have given me, and for allowing me to be part of their lives. Some of the greatest gifts in life are the family we find along the way❤️

A couple of days ago I got to capture one of the most beautiful, intimate weddings in Lyngen.
We spent the day at and the weather was doing its usual Northern Norway thing… changing constantly, snow coming and going, light shifting every few minutes.
Right before the ceremony, it was actually snowing. And then, almost like it was meant to be, it cleared just in time.
The ceremony took place down by the ocean, with these incredible mountains in the background.
Afterwards, the whole day unfolded so gently — good food, laughter, dancing, cake, and a beautiful sunset.
So grateful for this work, the people I get to meet, and the moments I get to capture along the way❤️

A little teaser film from a beautiful Lofoten elopement ✨
There are moments photos can’t hold.
The movement. The energy.
That’s why I’ve started offering film.
Not instead of photos.
But alongside them.
So you can remember your day…
as something alive.

When you elope in Norway,
you’re not just booking a photographer.
You’re creating a full experience—
in a place that might feel completely unknown.
Most of my couples come from abroad.
And they don’t just need photos.
They need someone who knows the land,
who understands the weather,
who can guide them through it all.
I help you with everything—
locations, timeline, planning, logistics…
But also something more important:
I help you create a day that feels like you.
A day that’s calm.
Intentional.
Free from pressure.
So when it finally arrives…
you’re not thinking about where to stand
or what to do.
You’re just there.
In it. Together.
And that’s where the real moments happen 🤍
