Some days feel less like work and more like spending a day with old friends. 🤍
E & M drove all the way from the UK to Lofoten in their camper van, with their little dog Bella along for the adventure. And after planning this day together for almost a year, when we finally met, it somehow felt like we already knew each other.
We started at the beautiful cabin they had rented for their wedding, where they got ready and shared their first look right there by the harbour. From there, we headed into the mountains for their ceremony — surrounded by lakes, peaks and that wild Lofoten landscape they had travelled so far to experience.
They had chosen a beautiful handfasting ceremony, and Bella was there for every part of it. 🐾
We went for a little hike, stopped for a picnic they had thoughtfully prepared, laughed, explored and simply enjoyed the day together.
And then we ended at Unstad Beach. The wind had other plans for our bonfire, but it didn’t matter. We put up the lights, watched the evening settle over the beach, and they had their first dance with the ocean and mountains around them.
It was one of those days filled with all the things I love most about elopements, adventure, intimacy, a little unpredictability, and so much love.
But more than anything, it was E & M themselves. The kindest, sweetest people, who made the whole day feel less like I was photographing a wedding and more like I was simply out adventuring in Lofoten with friends.
Thank you, E & M, for bringing me along for this one. And Bella, of course. 🤍
What a day. What a place. What a beautiful little adventure❤️
