Earlier this summer, we were lucky to have a pod of orcas visit the Helgeland coast 🫍🖤

The pod of seven was hunting in and out of the fjords in search of food. Here, one of them came right into the shallow, green water. An incredible encounter with these amazing animals, photographed with a drone 📸🌊

Full moon and the eagle 🦅🌕
Inspired by this week’s solar eclipse, I went back through some old images and found this one from 11 years ago.

I had found a white-tailed eagle perched on a small islet when the moon started to appear behind it.

Being in a boat made it possible to move around and fine-tune the composition. I could slowly work my way back and forth until the eagle and moon lined up perfectly.

I can still remember how happy I was when everything came together for this shot.
