På lørdag reiste jeg til Rendalen å fotografere bryllupet til Cathinka og Bjørn Halvor.
Vi måtte manøvrere mellom regnbygene, men det gikk bra, og med en fantastisk forlovere som fikk barna til å tø opp, gikk fotoseansen som smurt. Nesten….

This past Saturday I had the joy of capturing the wedding of the sweetest couple, right in the mountains of Norway in Høvringen. 🌿

It was a breathtakingly beautiful day – and also one of the windiest I’ve ever experienced. At times, the wind reached hurricane force, but nothing could stop these two from celebrating their love exactly the way they dreamed it.

We braved the storm together and created an unforgettable outdoor shoot. The ceremony itself was held outside as well, and despite (or maybe because of) the wild weather, it all felt, as they would say themselves, absolutely perfect!

Love really does conquer all. 💍✨

NEWSFLASH. I`M QUITTING.
Gerben has decided to no longer come along as my second shooter and after being a wedding photographer for 10 years it was time for me to make some choices as well.

That´s why I had to say no to a lot of inquires since I no longer take on traditional weddings. So on that part I am quitting.
I sincerely believe that wedding couples deserve somebody totally dedicated and excited for their wedding.
I felt I no longer was that person and doing it only for the money is not something I believe in.

It doesn´t mean I totally quit photographing weddings.

This is an example of a wedding I loved to photograph last week.
Ingredients:
- A very relaxed couple, who didn´t want all the traditions
- A couple who loves adventure and nature and being active outdoors
- An outdoor ceremony with a canoe entrance of the groom
- Photography BEFORE the ceremony so the afternoon was filled with games and fun
- Around 50 guests or less
- Very good food at River Lodge
