Day 3 of Aurora hunting took us to two locations. Grøtfjord and Rekvikeidet on Kvaløya. This shot was taken quickly just after arriving at Rekvikeidet.

This spot was a lot more peaceful and scenic than the first. No -10c wind chill and car headlights ruining your shots. The lights danced for a matter of minutes before being swallowed by the approaching clouds. We just made it in time!

Our camp for the week and a really great wee spot for hunting the lights. This was the first bit of activity we saw on the first night. I lasted literally a few minutes, then was gone.
