............................................I had been following this Animal rescue page in facebook since the last couple of years , its run by a lady by the name Shreejana Thakuri ( Shree’s animal rescue shelter ) they specialize in rescuing treatment and taking care of street dogs injured in Road traffic accidents , human acts of brutality , dog fights as well as Elderly breeding dogs uses by Breeding Farm to produce PureBreds and then later abandoned when their reproductive age is over . I used to feel so relieved that there were people like them who dedicated their whole lives for the betterment of these creatures that can’t speak for themselves , The shelter currently acts as a treatment center for more than 50 injured animals and is called home by more than 200 animals ( mainly dogs , cats , stray calfs ).............................................................. But Yesterday , as i was scrolling thru my social media , i saw a video of Shreejana DIdi , the sadness in her breaking voice , and the teary eyes as she expressed her worries hit me really hard , it turns out that the agreement of Land she had leased 3 yers ago for the shelter had come to an end and the landlords were not willing to extend the contract any longer ( by their personal causes ) , so She and her family of 250 are at the brink of being homeless , and it was breaking her from the inside !! .................................................so today with 3 of my friends ( Ajay Maharjan /Dikpal Thapa /Kuiro.O ) , went searching for this safe haven for mans best friend , (near Nagdaha) , and ......................................when we got there we were welcomed by The Resident Vet and Shreejana didi herself and the most amazing chorus of dog barks (which at first was obnoxious) but as we soaked in the energy of the place we cud almost understand the affection and the hope as well as the dissatisfaction in each bark,
the way the lil deaf japanese spitz hugged Ajay legs , the way the black dog with both back legs broken wud drag itself to get pampered every time anyone of us stooped down for a low angle shot !! the way the elderly brown cocker spaniel and the chocolate brown Labrador stared into the lens as if they knew who we were and what were doing , asking us , why do we deserve this !! ...............................................................these amazing creatures deserve a good home , if possible adopt them , if not at least please help People like Shreejana Didi give them the home they deserve!! her compassion and dedication is unparalleled and every animal lover sud encourage and help her , mahango breed ko healthy kukur mantra maya ko patra haina , all dogs all animals deserve to live a happy and safe life !! ..............................................................So this is our plea to all the animal lovers out there , please come together , contribute what u can , spread share these information and let her efforts reach as many people as possible , As i learnt more about the shelter i found out that Shreejana Didi was managing almost 90% of the finances from her own pocket and the funds and contributions were only covering 10% of the expenses ! lets us all chip in what little we can , 5 rs nai kina nahos , jatti sakcha please contribute , ill put the links to ways to donate to her below !! this with all ur animal lover friends them in ur community milera
