Standing on top of Gokyo Ri (5,357 m) — one of the most breathtaking viewpoints in the Everest region! 🏔️ From here, you can see four of the six highest mountains in the world: Everest, Lhotse, Makalu, and Cho Oyu. The view also stretches over the stunning Gokyo Lakes, the highest freshwater lake system in the world, considered sacred by both Hindus and Buddhists. ✨

Fun facts:
• The turquoise Gokyo Lakes are located at altitudes of 4,700–5,000 m and are recognized as a UNESCO Ramsar site.
• Gokyo Ri is often called the best panoramic viewpoint of Everest, even better than Kala Patthar.
• The hike up to Gokyo Ri is steep but short, usually taking around 2 hours, and rewards you with an unforgettable sunrise or sunset. 🌄

This trek has truly been a journey of a lifetime, and every step was worth it!
