The last time I photographed this family was 5 years ago. Recently, they reached out for new photos at a time when I wasn’t actively shooting… but after thinking about it, I made the decision to reopen and finally step back into something I’ve always enjoyed and now we’re here!
Their family has grown so much since then, and it was such a privilege to capture this new chapter. This photoshoot reminded me of what I’ve been missing that fulfilling feeling of creating and capturing moments that mean so much to others, in my own creative space.
Since relaunching, I’ve already learned so much not just about photography, but about the highs and lows that come with building your own business.
