This session was for the winner of my 1K follower giveaway—and I truly believe it was meant to be.
A little storytime...
When I reached out to .vis, she shared something that stopped me in my tracks. Her family was in the middle of packing up their home to move—but she wanted one last photo session there.
Not just because it was their house, but because it held *his* memory. Her late husband. Their kids’ dad. The place where they built their life together.
In that moment, I knew this session was more than just a giveaway—it was a gift of time, love, and remembrance.
I had the honour of stepping into that space, hearing their stories, and capturing the warmth that still lived in those walls. It reminded me deeply to hold my own family closer, and not take a single moment for granted.
We never know what tomorrow holds.
So tell your loved ones how much you love them.
Show them. Hug them. Be kind to them.
Live like today is the best day of your life—because one day, it will be the last memory someone holds onto.
