Advice to anyone wanting to start content creation or wanting to start posting more.

Everyone tells you to stay consistent, but let me tell you something real:

You better make sure your s**t is straight before diving into it. Make sure your personal life is taken care of and if you have kids - they come first ALWAYS!

It’s easy for people to get lost in this social media game that they forget about reality.

The goal should never be fame or fortune and if that is your end goal, you’ll end up a lot poorer than when you started.

Keep pono and tuturu in your mahi and make sure you keep your wairua clean. Having a clear conscious is worth so much more than any materialistic possession or fame on this planet.

And if you’re gonna post, offer your audience value. Don’t be a s**t c**t that posts for clout and drama. There’s already enough of those hoha on our Aotearoa algorithm 🖤✨

I truly didn’t realise how much of a community I have in Whangārei until I went to the Lion Rezz concert on Friday night 🥹

As soon as I got into the venue, it started. I barely walked in and the most beautiful wāhine greeted me with such aroha! She hugged me like we’ve known each other for YEARS! I started making my way through the crowd to get to the bar and a few people stopped me to hug me and share with me their whakaaro on why they follow me etc. As the night went on, people would come sit with me to talk or just come hug me and thank me. People were offering me drinks, smokes etc, but the respect and love I was shown in Whangārei was next level!!! 🔥🔥🔥

Moments like these is the reason I keep showing up the way I do. REAL, RAW, RUGGED and HOOD.

To be able to sit with people and kōrero to them like they’re my whānau reminds me why I started content creation.

My platform lets me cross paths with some of the most down to earth and loving people and I’m grateful I get to experience your fullas time in this way 🖤✨

When are photographers going to realise your branding is WHO YOU ARE!!

Constantly changing your business name, your logo, redesigning/rebranding your business isn’t going to magically bring you more clients or more work if YOU aren’t showcasing yourself as your brand.
