New script for processing solar images in Pixinsight from Bill Blanshan and Mike Cranfield.
Tested it out on some old data from my ZWO SeeStar.
Can't argue with those results.

Over a week of imaging and battling cloudy nights, I'm excited to unveil this stunning image of NGC 7293, The Helix Nebula. This is over 7 hours of integration time and approximately 2500 subs, revealing the intricate details of this ethereal nebula. Captured using the ZWO SeeStar and processed using Pixinsight, every nuance of light and color in this deep space marvel has been intricately brought forth.

Went digging through the archives and came across some of my earlier photos.
This is a nice colour shot of the crater Pluto taken with an RC8 and a Qhyccd Astronomical & Scientific Camera II5 camera on an IOptron CEM25p.

Would love to revisit the Moon and planets now that I have access to a nice big 10" SCT.

Sa 149. A Dark Nebula located in the constellation Musca (2022-03-30)
Turns out not all black in space is the same.

About 6.8 hours if integration.

Camera was a Qhyccd Astronomical & Scientific Camera 168C with an Optolong Astronomy Filter L-Pro filter.
Mount: IOptron CEM40

This was not easy to process and I went through many different versions doing trial and error to get to this stage (I think this was version 4?).

Mucking around with some video again.

This time were comparing an 80mm to an 8" to the NASA's Hubble Space Telescope and finally to the NASA's James Webb Space Telescope

Comparison time!
Full resolution close up of my previous image "The Gabriela Mistral Nebula"
Image 1 is taken with an 8" Ritchey–Chrétien scope (f/6 @ 1218mm)
Image 2 is taken with an 80mm APO Pro Refractor (f/4.8 @ 348mm)

Check out all that extra detail the 8" picks up.
