💛 A LITTLE REMINDER OF HOPE IN THE HOOD 💛
Last night while attending Uso Evo's car meet, I came across something that instantly took me back to our HOPE IN THE HOOD event — the remembrance bonnet that our community came together to sign with the names of their loved ones who have passed on. 🕊️
Seeing it again was a powerful moment. Every name written across that bonnet represents someone deeply loved, deeply missed, and never forgotten. It wasn't just a bonnet; it became a canvas of memories, stories, and tributes from our community.
At our HOPE IN THE HOOD event in May, 2025, people from all walks of life took a moment to honour those no longer with us. Some wrote names, some wrote messages, and some simply stood and reflected. Together, we created something truly special.
A huge thank you to IGY6 Car Crew for bringing the bonnet out last night and keeping that memory alive. Seeing it proudly displayed was a beautiful reminder that Hope in the Hood wasn't just an event, it was a movement of remembrance, connection, and community.
To everyone who added a name to the bonnet, thank you for trusting us with those memories. Your loved ones may be gone, but they will never be forgotten. Their names continue to travel with us, reminding us why we come together, support one another, and keep these conversations alive.
Hope in the Hood may be over, but the message remains the same:
❤️ Check on your people.
❤️ Share the memories.
❤️ Keep their names alive.
❤️ There is always hope.
Gone but never forgotten. Forever loved. Forever remembered. 🕊️
