But she soldiered on - like most wahine do... creating space for herself & her business and her community 💕

Meet Kirsty Vea, she's not just a Virtual Executive Assistant, although she’s a blimmin epic one.

Kirsty involves herself with both corporate and community work, she supports Māori and Pasifika organisations with operational, project and governance work (including board-level support). Her focus is always on creating real opportunities for whānau, and lately she’s been diving into AI, figuring out how it can actually be useful for her clients.

The shoot that keeps on giving!

did a big team shoot at the end of 2024 and I love seeing all the images pop up, and they're still going strong... making use of their BTS/b-roll images too...

I just threw some of their quirky headshots into canva and made these quick designs. With Canva, and the "remove background" feature - you too can be a designer (of sorts). A good collection of shots for you to work with i canva is gold...

👉🏼 RECIPE for Team Shoot Success:

📷 Good amount of planning (easy when you have admin stars like )
📷 Handful of concepts and ways to make your shots useable in multiple ways.
📷 Location/s that suit the concepts and team size.
📷 A willing photographer & co-shooter (get more with two)
📷 Last but not least - keen team that is open to getting the job done right

2026 is going to be another year of AI trying to steal the show... it is showing up everywhere. So much so, we may see real imagery from an event and dismiss it as not being real - this is a strange phenomenon to think about , will we all become so desensitised that we ignore important information? Time will tell.

Now, lets be clear, I am not totally anti-AI. I probably use it daily, and I also use it to help save time with editing.

What I don't like - Is seeing people shying away from their humanness even more by generating AI images of themselves that completely mess with self image.

We need to celebrate humanness and uniqueness even more!

Human. Authentic. Real = ✨ trustworthy ✨
