It’s been an amazing ride with this song. So proud and honoured to be a part of it, work with such a talented musician and very very excited to see what the future holds!! Thank you Gabriel Bond Music for the opportunity to be a part of this absolute banger of a tune!!!
Lights Burn Low has been out for one week!! Hard to believe this song that I wrote in my room a while back is now out in the world. Of course it’s a bit different to how it sounded when I wrote it on my guitar. A bit bigger. A bit bolder. None of that would have been possible without a lot of help from some incredible people.
These people include the amazing Jonathan Meyer, who produced the track with me (and played in most of the instruments 😮) Angus Grainger who played the drums on the song, Scott Seabright who mixed it, Chris Chetland who mastered it, and Joshua White who shot the beautiful cover art.
I’m so thankful to be able to work with such talented people. This isn’t even everyone, as I had so much support and advice from different people throughout the process. Chris Bates even had me over to his house to record vocals (you can actually hear his voice at one moment in the song). It’s just so awesome to be able to make music with these people. The next one isn’t far away ❤️ Also if you made it to the end of this post, Merry Christmas 🎄
