Yesterday we had an amazing family visit to Franklin Farm in Waimauku with the whānau.

Beautiful Butterflies, Stunning Scenes and a Fabulous Family running it all! Thanks team for all the mahi you put in for everyone to enjoy, the effort truly shows!!

If you haven't been before, make sure you get down there, the sunflower fields behind the old farm ute will be blooming around Valentines day 😉

To the lovely locomotive driver reaching out for us to meet him at the station for a special Saturday stop off.

We set the alarms and got down to the station before the train arrived so we could watch it pull in, once stationary we got to snapping a few more photos before meeting some of the KiwiRail crew, I just loved hearing the laughter and seeing the grins at mahi.

Phoenix was a bit nervous about the offer of getting on/in the train but he was very chuffed with his goody bag from the office team and a photo with his new friend in front of the train!

Thank you so much to everyone involved in making such a special morning for our boy, we truly appreciate it!

Last weekend we had such a great time at the JDM car meet!
Thanks to Corner Hunter and Helensville mechanical services for bringing this to town and Te Awaroa Museum Helensville for the extra parking space, such a beautiful scene 😍

Big ol share from me and plans ahead for community ventures👌

Our Village is a space for everyone in our community to connect. Come along for 5mins or the whole time, there is no formal structure. Special events are setup on the page otherwise it's a casual hang out every Thursday including school holidays.
We run on koha and wouldn't be able to do what we do without sponsorship from Nicky Horsbrough - Helensville Real Estate and the Harcourts Helensville - Licensed Agent REAA 2008 team. Thank you so much for your continued support since our beginnings!
A great way to contribute if funds are tight is by bringing a plate to share or help tidy a little before leaving. We love meeting locals and understand how hard it is to get out of the house and see new people.

Personal note for those nervous to come along: I promise you I struggle with the concept myself but doing this has helped me push through the anxiety. Even though it beats me some days 🙈

I just wanted to share a real easy hack to get clear crisp photos from your phone..

Make sure that lens is clean!
On the newer models they sometimes pop up as a reminder to clean the lens for best results.

Left is only slightly dirty from fingerprints and right is after a fresh wipe.

Same goes for your front facing camera for selfies too 👀
