Baby Sian wanted to stay awake during this session, but we were able to get a few snaps of her in the deepest of sleeps. There isn’t anything better than newborn cuddles. 🤎🥰

I had a beautiful sunset maternity session with this mama-to-be on the west coast. This was my first time shooting at this beach and it was a stunner! I’ll definitely be back. 🥰💜☀️

Here is one half of a set of twinnies I did a shoot for on the weekend and I just really adore this photo of the boys. 😎🤩 Let’s celebrate all the dads out there! (…and of course all the mums too! 😉)

One more week (hopefully!🤞🏽) of level 4 lockdown for Auckland. It’s not the most ideal news, but it’s just something we have to do to eliminate this bloody virus. Anyway I thought I would share a few more tips to help get you through the lockdown blues and lift your spirits:

1. Limit TV News.
It’s good to know what’s going on, but if you’re glued to every News broadcast, receiving constant notifications on your phone or being swarmed by posts on social media then maybe it’s time to switch off or atleast just grab the case number updates and move on with your day. Too much news can be unhealthy.

2. Following positive social media accounts can really boost your day and a good belly laugh can get you out of the deepest funks! Two of my faves right now are and

3. Plan something you can look forward to such as a movie night on the weekend or just planning to do something the next day that you really enjoy like reading a book or painting your nails. Having something to look forward to brings excitement and anticipation to what could be a repetitive week.

4. I need this one in particular…it’s to get more sleep! More sleep lowers stress levels, sharpens your focus, increases your energy and improves your immune system…and so much more!

5. Practice self-compassion and be kind to yourself. Acknowledge and accept your feelings rather than avoiding them, this situation is crap and it’s ok to not be ok, but we also have to remember that we are not alone and our struggles are shared with everyone all over the world. If you have a moment of feeling down or stressed out, consider what you might tell a friend and direct that same warmth, kindness and support toward yourself.

6. Connect with family & friends. It’s easy to feel isolated during this time so reach out to your loved ones through a phone call or zoom meeting. My family have been doing a dress up weekly quiz night and it’s been fun having something to look forward to.

Let me know if you give any of these a go. Take care x 😘💜

Today I read in a book a really simple, yet beautiful quote and I thought I would share it here. ‘There are many things in this world that no amount of money will buy you, and some things priceless beyond measure. Family first, family second, and family last’. It just really put things into perspective for me today and maybe you need that too. 💜 Have a fab weekend friends. x 😃

The multiples journey is a unique one and I always love uniting with other twin mums to talk about how special life is as a multiples family. It’s double the level of craziness…but also double the amount of hugs, kisses and love. I can’t wait to meet these two post lockdown. 🥰💜

It’s a rarity to get all of us in a picture together (especially dad), so having photos taken, even if they are staged, is a pretty special thing. I want to remember it all. I want to remember their little laughs, their smiles, how they spoke, how they interacted with eachother… all of it needs to be documented NOW as time flies by so fast! 😩🥰 I need to get my A into G and book my own family session soon! 💜

I was tagged a while back by .photography to share ‘8 facts about me’ but I didn’t have any recent photographs of myself, so I decided to do a wee self-portrait challenge during lockdown. I set up the tripod and it didn’t go up to the height that I wanted, plus I was running back and forth to push the shutter button as I don’t have a portable trigger(🤪), so with some guidance my amazing sis-in-law stepped in and took these for us! 😍

Anyway here are 8 random facts about me!

1. I did a Fashion Design degree at AUT but never pursued working in the industry after graduating.

2. Prior to having kids I worked as a Warehouse Manager and then as a Stock Allocator for a luxury brand in Melbourne.

3. Two of my favourite meals are butter chicken on rice with garlic naan from Shamiana & chicken teriyaki on rice with Mayo from St Pierres.

4. I have a set of 2yo twins along with an older 4yo boy and yes, it is chaos. 😂

5. I did film photography in highschool and it was one of my favourite classes, along with art painting. I’ve always been drawn to my creative side rather than my academic side. Creativity fuels my soul. 🥰

6. In the arvos you’ll either find me with a deep merlot or a strawberry herbal tea… depends on the day. 😂

7. I’m quite a sporty type of person and play in an indoor netball team on Tuesday nights and do the occasional Zumba class. I’m passionate about exercise and will dabble in pretty much any form of sport…aside from water sports, that’s a big NO. 😂

8. I’m a Summer baby, so I absolutely loathe the winter months! From December through to February you’ll find me roaming round the house (wish it was the beach😂) in shorts and a bikini top and making the most of any opportunity to get a tan. Can’t wait for Summer 21/22! ☀️
