Happy Father’s Day to all the amazing dads in our community 🤍

The warmest hug. The safest place. The calm they look for when everything feels a little too big.

We’ve witnessed so many of those early little eyes looking up at Dad in complete awe.

They don’t understand much about the world yet. They don’t know what love means, or how much you do for them.

But somehow, they already know you’re their person.

And I think that’s such a beautiful thing to witness.

The little details.

It’s one of the things almost every newborn parent asks us to capture.

And maybe it’s because, in those first few weeks, you spend so much time simply looking at them.

Their tiny fingers. Their toes. The shape of their nose. The wrinkles in their skin. All the little things you’re slowly learning by heart.

Then they grow, and somehow those details become harder to remember.

Photography gives us a way to hold onto them.

Not just what your baby looked like, but how incredibly little they once were.

Every year this season comes and goes so quickly.
The trees change, the light gets softer, everyone brings out their cosy layers… and then suddenly it’s over again.

If updating your family photos has been somewhere in the back of your mind, autumn is honestly the nicest time to do it. The colours feel warm, the sessions feel relaxed, and everything just comes together naturally.

We’re photographing a small number of families while the leaves are still here 🍂

This time we chose to leave the original sound in this reel.

Because when you listen closely, you can already hear what matters most, the giggles, the small voices, the real moments happening in between.

Becoming parents changed the way we notice these things too. It made us slower, more observant, and more aware of how quickly these ordinary moments pass.

Over time, it also changed the way we photograph families.

We’ve learned that when people feel comfortable simply being together, the moments usually come on their own.

That’s always been the kind of space we try to create.
