It finally happened! On a cold, wintery morning, we grabbed our suitcases, kissed the children goodbye, and slipped out the front door to catch an early morning flight to a beautiful and snowy destination! Twenty years ago we slipped out of the office to chase to an isolated destination to get married and never got around to celebrating with the customary getaway-honeymoon. Staying together for 20 years warranted a well-deserved getaway though, so we committed to making it happen this year! I've jokingly asked if this would mean that the honeymoon phase is over now, but I've been assured that it is not.
