It’s a kind of magic! 🪄✨.
We had an incredible location and the most flawless March day for shooting Summer ‘27 outdoor collection.

Here’s a sneak peek behind the scenes creating beautiful imagery for their new range (if I may say so myself) with stylist working her own kind of magic on set.

*10 points if you spot a robot mower working almost as hard as us. 🤖

A special thanks to PK for welcoming us at your slice of heaven (with truly spectacular 🐂🐂🐂)!

How great has this spring sunshine been! ☀️ I'm celebrating winning the war on the family washing with a laundry appreciation post. Here's a collection of beautiful laundry spaces and moments I've shot that would make getting through those piles a joy and not a burden! 🧼🫧👕 | NZ

With a laundry room like this, there'd be a tune on my lips; mountains of washing would have me jauntily greeting them and I'd be finding all sorts of reasons to spend time in it!
No daycare-stained clothing would be too challenging; All shouts of "Mum" too quiet to detect; Only serenity to be found here. 🕊️

A unique, fearless response to their client's brief and love of colour, .space_nz have masterfully combined hues of dirty pink, purple and aubergine to transform a once monochromatic space into an intimate, cosy family lounge.

A finalist in the Colour Awards 2023, I wish them all the best for the awards in Australia!

Pouring over nursery pics for inspiration and planning the space was one of the most exciting parts of preparing for our little one in 2020. Maybe as it offers a chance for a fresh palette special to that space and you're imagining your tiny babe in it. Squeee!

At the time I was fresh off the release of Our Spaces, the interiors book I collaborated on with Alana Broadhead (of .nz) that was packed with gorgeous nursery and kids rooms ideas, like this beauty by Jess Hodgeson of . And I must confess I'd been filing ideas away during it... I knew at the shoot this lamp would be in my house (one day) and it is. 🤭

Looking at the home of and family in the latest , you may be surprised to learn it was once pokey and dark.

The 1910 villa had undergone renovations in the 90's, leaving it with an awkward layout and not conducive to modern living . With Ginamarie Riley's design expertise (and experience renovating her previous homes), the villa was transformed into a spacious, comfortable and airy home that is now more akin to the original house.

Gina is well known for her tonal palettes, an aesthetic she favors in her Sandringham home ware store, Ornament. Along with these soft, neutral tones, she added layers of texture that encourage you to "run your fingertips over them" (I 100% did this multiple times during the shoot), including raw stone and polished surfaces.
