Kirsten Summers For a good couple of years now I've focused my attention on photographing mostly sport, with a few portrait shoots and dance shoots in between.

Then a year or so ago I shot a friends wedding and loved it! I never realised how similar sport and weddings could be. People in sport and people at weddings all get emotional one way or another and this is what I love to capture. So since that first wedding I've shot a few more and now feel it's time to start a new page dedicated solely to weddings and love

Exploring Queenstown and finding all these beautiful locations is the best. Jack’s Point is something else… golden fields, a lake, mountains for days, and always the most incredible light.
Then add a gorgeous couple and their little family, total perfection ✨

Alison and Paris were so excited to be married, and with their son in tow, it was a delight to photograph them.

60 years married ❤️

I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Colin and Trish with their beautiful family as they celebrated an incredible milestone together. I asked them what the secret was to their 60 years of marriage, and what advice they’d give to the younger generation.

Colin’s answer was simple: “Respect”.
Trish smiled and said, “Forgive and forget and don’t hold a grudge.”

Such simple, honest wisdom from a truly wonderful couple.

A beautiful Scottish inspired wedding, with a bagpiper leading the bride and groom and all their guest’s up to Auckland’s stunning Pah Homestead. Michelle wore a radiant red wedding dress while Cameron and his merry men all wore kilts. It was a truly beautiful day made more so by the gorgeous weather and the stunning venue. Finished off perfectly with a wild but fun Scottish Ceilidh 💃
