Here is a good example of what the affects of the F/stop number (Aperture) does to your photos depending on what F/stop number you use. (from the left to right)
1. F/4.5 , Exposure time: (shutter speed) 1/160 sec , ISO 200.
2. F/5 , Exposure time: 1/80 sec, ISO 200
3. F/14 , Exposure time: 1/20 sec, ISO 200.

The difference is there between the three photos especially when comparing the first photo and the third photo. Although in the last photo I'm further away from the flowers as I wanted to capture all of them in the same area. But even if I were up close to some of them the shot would still show you the different in the background blur :).

Photos taken today at the Winter Gardens in the Auckland Domain.

Headed out to English Point Reserve in East Auckland this afternoon, although it wasn't the clearest of skies. I still managed to get a couple of shots in from the place.
