Beautiful kΕrero AND kete ππΌπππΏβ¨
All my kaiako have had this talk with me , an many will also say the same , that you need to find the bread n butter ( regarding Mahi , like earrings for example).
My bread an butter π
, are my kete , I have a lot of Patience when it comes to my Mahi, but with adhd my attention span comes from a place of obsession an passion.
When I was younger I made a few wall hangings ,an now I cringe at the thought of weaving stuff to hang on a wall .
People change over time , as does the Mahi .
I love weaving kete whakairo for them to be used everyday or brought out for special occasions β€οΈ ( my walls hold retired kete )
β do what you love , love what you do β
Kiekie kete whakairo im currently weaving ,I collected this from kaitoke at the beginning of winter ( an I still got it white)
*This kete is named after Hine-rehia, only been woven at night or on misty days , which we have a lot of them in Upper Hutt .
