A little holiday in my “home” marina in Lauterbach, Wasserwelten followed by a spectacular SailGP event, with thousands of fans experiencing some of the closest and fastest racing on the water.

In short: My favourite island delivered once again!

Long before I knew photography would one day become my profession, I spent many years here working as a sailing instructor.

Dear Wimbledon ,

It was an absolute honour to work at this year’s Championships once again.

A huge thank you to “our” incredible team of talented photographers, editors, and everyone who worked tirelessly behind the scenes. A special thank you to Thomas Lovelock , .thompson16 , and sarah_spensley for running the show.

I also want to mention Bob Martin , who was not with us this year and was deeply missed. Get well soon, Matey!

This selection of images focuses less on the action and more on the emotion that makes this year’s Wimbledon so special to me. The first photo is of our entire team, a group of true legends whom I am proud to have worked alongside.

Originally built in 1911 as a1st rule, modified in 1931, and carefully restored to her traditional gaff rig during 2021–2023, Örn represents a long sailing heritage and a deep respect for classic craftsmanship.
