One of the clearest, most magical nights I've ever had
experienced on Mount Ruapehu
This is one of those images that represent far more than just a photograph.
I'd been dreaming about capturing a scene like this for almost a year. Ever since the winter start , l'a hoped for the perfect combination of fresh snow, crystal-clear skies, and the Milky Way lining up over the mountain.
On the night of Monday 13 jul2026 at ~2.35am, everything finally came together.
