I am not a florist - I’m an artist. But while real flowers are the ultimate, my art has the benefit of never needing to be watered (and lasting a whole lot longer)

EXCITING NEWS - a new work at a special price! I’m presenting my work at the inaugural First Workshop on Human Responses to Flowers at the University of Surrey, UK. This starts a new direction in my work. I’ve always known and observed for years that flowers make a difference and this is about proving this through research!

To celebrate (and to help me get there) I’m releasing a brand new joyful artwork Aroha. A glorious mix of dahlias, zinnias and hydrangeas from a healing garden in Mapua.

Created from my perspective as both an artist and former nurse, these works are designed to bring warmth, colour and a sense of uplift into the spaces we live in

FLORASSEMBLAGE - Tonight one of my favorite creations, is heading to the charity auction .nz to help raise funds for

This piece feels deeply personal to me - an explosion of deep blue and violet delphiniums, roses and hydrangeas gathered around antique Delft vessels, then disrupted with splashes of paint and movement. I wanted it to feel lush and slightly untamed… like nature overflowing its boundaries.

The artwork became the inspiration for my limited edition silk scarf created to help support breast cancer cure and research - taking the artwork beyond the canvas into something people could wear, wrap around themselves and live with.

There are still a small number of scarves available from the limited edition (head to the website)💙

I love that this work continues to evolve and give back in different ways.
