NZ Wedding Vendor Awards 2026… what a night! 🏆🎉

Beyond humbled and grateful to be named New Zealand’s Best Wedding Videographer 2026, taking home both the North Island AND National awards! 🎥❤️

We didn’t quite get there on the Photography side this year, but hey… I’m still proudly holding onto that Best Wedding Photography 2025 title! 😂📸🏆

Looking through this gallery brought back all the laughs, celebrations and familiar faces from such an epic night. It was about so much more than just the awards. It was about celebrating alongside some seriously talented photographers, videographers, creatives and amazing wedding vendors from across NZ.

Oh boy… that was CHILLY! 🥶😂🏔️
Justin & Min | New York ➡️ Queenstown 🇺🇸✈️🇳🇿

These two travelled ALL the way from the busy streets of New York City to the mountains of Queenstown, New Zealand… and what an adventure it turned out to be! Our first catch-up was actually over Zoom while I was in Singapore, and from that first chat I already knew Justin & Min were going to be SUCH a vibe!

The Queenstown weather was dancing with us for a couple of days. 😂 Rain, flooding and classic unpredictable NZ weather meant we had to postpone their wedding shoot not once… but TWICE! Then Friday came along and BOOM 💥 the weather completely changed and Queenstown finally turned it on!

Up we flew by helicopter to Cecil Peak Ledge 🚁🏔️ and let’s just say… it was definitely a little BREEZY up there! 😂🌬️ Hair flying everywhere, trying to keep warm, but honestly it just made the whole adventure even more fun! With Lake Wakatipu and those insane Southern Alps views behind them, Justin & Min exchanged their cute little vows, shared plenty of laughs and absolutely embraced the whole Queenstown Wedding experience. ❤️

Sometimes the weather doesn’t go to plan and sometimes you have to wait a little longer… but when Queenstown turns it on, let’s go!! 🔥🔥🔥📸 Worth. Every. Single. Wait.

It’s been an absolute pleasure hanging out with these lovely Americans, showing them a little taste of our beautiful New Zealand and creating some epic memories along the way. Justin & Min, you guys were legends! Welcome to the NZ vibes! 😂🇳🇿❤️

Massive congratulations to Mr & Mrs Hope!🌙✨
On Thursday, Tori & Jake had their beautiful elopement ceremony over at Moke Lake, Queenstown surrounded by sunshine, autumn 🍂 vibes, mountains, and unreal weather all day long 🤍

But honestly… the real magic happened once night fell.

All day we were secretly hoping and fingers crossed that the Aurora would make an appearance for their lowground night shoot 👀 There were already so many boxes ticked off… New Moon ✅ No clouds ✅ No wind ✅ Everything was lining up perfectly.

Then finally… the Aurora arrived 😭✨

Watching the sky glow above these two while the Milky Way stretched across Queenstown was one of those moments that just doesn’t feel real. Safe to say Tori & Jake absolutely hit the jackpot on their wedding day 🌌

I honestly had such a awesome time hanging out with these beautiful humans. What made it even more special is that Tori & Jake are photographers themselves, so I’m incredibly grateful they trusted and selected me to photograph and help plan their epic elopement wedding day 🥹🤍

Huge shout out again to all the amazing vendors for teaming up with Kouki Weddings and making this adventure come to life. Queenstown absolutely showed off for us ✨

Still running on pure jet lag after landing back in Auckland yesterday morning 😮‍💨✈️ But the madness continues… went from the urban city vibes straight into the stunning beach vibes of Muriwai Beach, Auckland with Joel & Ameisha 🌊☀️

These two brought so much fun, laughter, and energy into the shoot, especially during that unreal golden hour & blue hour glow. Honestly such an epic hang out and good vibes all around!
