Family, Whānau, ‘Ānau 🤍

This post is a little personal, but I wanted to share my why behind Manea Photography.

From the beginning, my vision has always been to create something deeper than just photos to create a space that captures real connection, cultural identity, diversity, and moments in time that truly matter.

Because the truth is… time is our most precious commodity.

Growing up, we didn’t have much in the way of preserved photos at home (a bit of carelessness lol), apart from our school photos. Back then, life was simple, raw, and innocent but those moments weren’t always documented. Now that I’m much older, I feel that more than ever.

That’s why I’ve made it my journey not only to capture your families, but also to capture my own. These are only a few photos of my family my cousins, nieces, nephews, aunty, my sister and her tamariki and already they mean everything to me.

To freeze those little moments… the laughter, the chaos, the love, the in-between.

Because one day, these photos will mean everything.

This mahi comes with so much responsibility, respect, and intention and I do this with all the aroha in the world.
