I am a travel and landscape photographer from the United States currently living in Auckland, New Zealand. My love of nature and the outdoors stems from living most of my life in Grand Rapids, Michigan. But, the more I travel, the more I'm captivated by the unique and ever-changing landscapes this world has to offer. Photography is my way of capturing the visible, and often subtle, beauty of the w
orld around us. Although I have always enjoyed hiking, camping, fishing, and canoeing, I have only recently begun visually documenting my adventures. An introductory photography class in college first sparked my interest in photography. It was not until years later, before my wife and I moved to Finland, that I began pursuing it in earnest. What started as a way to share our adventures with family and friends became a professional passion. The locations of my photos now range from Finland, Sweden, Norway, Turkey, Italy, Scotland, London, Greece, New Zealand, Denmark, Spain and the United States with many upcoming photography trips planned for the next year.
