āFor you, thereāll be no more crying
For you, the sun will be shining
Because I feel that when Iām with you
Itās alright, I know itās right
To you, Iāll give the world
To you, Iāll never be cold
Because I feel that when Iām with you
Itās alright, I know itās right
And the songbirds are singing
Like they know the score
And I love you, I love you, I love you
Like never beforeā
This is not the polished version of motherhood.
this is not the glowing, effortless story people like to tell.
this is the quiet weight of it.
the ache in your body, the stretching, the surrender.
the moments where you sit alone with it all and feel everything at onceā
love, fear, anticipation, exhaustion⦠and something you canāt quite name.
because growing life changes you.
not just your body, but the way you exist in the world.
there is a letting go hereā
of who you were, of what felt certain,
of the illusion that you are in control.
and in its place⦠something softer, something deeper is forming.
a strength that doesnāt need to prove itself.
a love that already exists before youāve even met.
this is the in-between.
the becoming.
the part no one really prepares you forā
but maybe the most sacred of all.
this is what iām drawn to captureā
not perfection, not performanceā¦
but truth.
the raw, the tender, the real moments
youāll one day look back on and feel all over again.
if you feel drawn to this kind of storytelling,
my books are open for maternity sessions š¤
