Another incredible year photographing the Southern Jam Youth Jazz Finale at Whitehaven Theatre. These kids are so talented, passionate and dedicated to their craft. A joy to hang out stage side and document their magic 🎶

Love, laugh, play and connect. An investment of $175 includes a 20 minute photography session and 5 full resolution, professionally retouched digital files. These images are chosen by you, with the option to purchase extra images if you wish.

August is a great month for photos with younger kids, as golden hour (the hour leading up to sunset) is around 5.30pm - much earlier than in the summer months! Golden hour provides an opportunity for extra beautiful lighting.

I was fortunate to photograph our Marlborough 2026 entries for TOI, a student wearable art development programme and nationwide competition, and all I can say is - WOW!!

TOI means art in te reo Māori, this programme challenges students to take art off the wall and put it on the human form. The creativity, dedication and passion of our Marlborough youth is simply incredible. So inspiring to be surrounded by, and to photograph, these incredible teens. Well done to everyone involved 🙌
