I went to Warbirds Over Wanaka on what was a cold, wet and miserable Saturday. There were no F22's or modern military, the cloud layer was low, but despite that, the warbirds team put on a very excellent airshow. Big shout out to Paul the sock guy at Walk Tall. I am sure most of his profit on Saturday came from us, but check him out, his gloves, hat, socks are great. Ryder coffee kept us caffienated in the best way.

Anyway, I am by no means an aviation photographer. This was my first attempt at photographing planes. These are a few that I liked. Thanks Trae, Kenzie, Carin and Marcus for a most excellent day out. Hopefully 2028 is a bit warmer!!!!!!!

Hey world. It’s been a minute. Life has been a journey. I’m back in rh Deep South and want to start making some portrait magic again. Please help me get the word out. If ya keen for some beautiful portraits hit me up.

I just spent yesterday in the screaming wind with two of my best friends. My old d700 a classic 180mm lens that isn’t used as a portrait lens (I don’t think many people use them). My soul was happy. My hair not so much.

I look forward to making more portrait magic again

Gianni-Rose and Jason. What can I say. What a day. You two are two of the most thoughtful people I have ever met. Your families are so kind and welcoming. Your bridal party - well. Such fun. I dont think I have ever been so obsessed with wedding food either. Such a beautiful day with beautiful people in a beautiful setting. Argh too much beautiful.

I must say I have never blocked a road before, and when the man cheekily mentioned traffic management, I did tell him we considered getting a road cone but this was way more fun. I hope your vision came to life.

Yesterday I had the absolute pleasure of shooting the wedding of Carrie and Curtis. Its been a long time coming with covid changing their plans more than once. But finally. YAY.

A beautiful Invercargill day withe awesome family and friends. What more could you want.

Carol really really wanted to shoot in this tunnel of trees. The light was in the wrong place to shoot what I think she invisaged, and it was kinda nasty but I wanted to give her something in this space that would hopefully make her happy. I only had a wee sliver of light that I put her in, and I had to shoot at my narrowest aperture to let enough light in. But Im happy with the result. Tunnel of love take 1.

Today I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Daniel and Carol. The day was so hot and sunny and we were so lucky to have a field of wild flowers at our disposal. (cue happy dance).
