One of my favourite parts of this job has nothing to do with the camera.
It’s getting invited into worlds I’d never normally get to see.
A couple of hours on-site with builders, farmers, makers, tradies, business owners … seeing what actually happens behind the scenes. The problem-solving, the craftsmanship, the organised chaos, and all the little details that most people never notice.
This time I had the pleasure of working alongside Laura | Little Bird Creative, who brought the branding and website to life, and Mitch from Mitch Beach Construction, capturing the story behind the work while the house was still just a skeleton.
There’s something incredibly satisfying about finding interesting angles in a space that most people would simply walk through. Turning timber frames, natural light and everyday moments into images that tell a story.
I genuinely don’t think I’ll ever get tired of this job.
Every business has a story worth telling. I just get to be the one behind the camera helping people see it.
