Yesterday (Sept 22) was international hobbit day. So, I thought let’s post some of my favourite pictures from Hobbiton Movie Set Tour. Tolkien writes some of the conversations between characters with deeper meaning. Here is one of my favourite ones.

'What do you fear, lady?' he [Aragorn] asked. 'A cage,' she [Eowyn] said. 'To stay behind bars, until use and old age accept them, and all chance of doing great deeds is gone beyond recall or desire.'

It's a metaphor. She fears [Eowyn] being trapped in the role required of her gender and social position, that does not suit her nature and never being able to be the person she really wants to be until she's given up on all her dreams and had all the hope crushed out of her. It's a familiar fear for women throughout history, including here and now. What do you think? Share your thoughts 👇

Yesterday,I asked you guys a question. I posted a picture of a flower like thing in my story. Got some really funny answers 😆 Let’s get it clear. It was a picture of a Pine cone. Pine tree has the unique ability to withstand harsh winds and up to sub-zero temperatures. In Japanese culture, the pine tree is known to represent longevity, good fortune and steadfastness. It is commonly linked with virtue and long life, even immortality.
The first and second photos were taken in West Melton of Canterbury. Third photo of a pine cone. Collected it from a hike in Hanmer, New Zealand.

Below are some interesting facts regarding the Pine tree which is also known as the most common coniferous tree worldwide.
Facts:
* Depending on species, pine trees can mature at 4 ft. tall all the way to 150 ft. tall.
* Pine tree are known to live, on average, 100 years, in favourable conditions.
* Pine trees are considered evergreens because they keep their needles for approximately 2 years. When old needles falls, new needles quickly take their place.

What do you think about pine tree? 🤔
