I remembered I had this photo from the 8th of July 2022. I felt so sorry for Okuku Pony Club that day as it rained cats and dogs all day and everything was soaking wet and cold. This was before I started doing photography for events and my old camera did well enough on the day to capture something!

Times have changed and we only have beautiful sunshine for our Pony Club Eventing fixtures now :)

This is Jade Guiver. Jade is one of the loveliest people I have met in the horse world. She is super passionate about her horses. I met Jade at a Muzi James clinic earlier this year. A fabulous rider, always keen for a yarn and such a bright spark.

Unfortunately Jade had a severe accident a few months ago and suffered broken bones as well as a severe stroke that has left her with paralysis on the left side of her body. Jade is still in Burwood Hospital.

Please get behind Jade and donate if you can to help her get some specialist care that she can access overseas. She is a valued member of our horse world and she especially loved her Eventing.

Rangiora Pony Club ODE - Day 2 80cm & 65cm

Another gorgeous day! Balmy even. Who would have thought.

Another challenging day on the cross country course for all heights.
Quite a few finding the gravitational pull a little too strong today.

I think Cam Robertson has definitely succeeded in creating a course you have to really ride and have a good seat for hanging on during a sudden deceleration event!)

Beautifully presented jumps and the course was looking top notch out there. Awesome work Cam & Rangiora Pony Club, a smashing effort.

Working on photos and will try to have up later tonight but will give a heads up once done.

Rangiora Pony Club ODE

Awesome winters day today with a crispness in the air.

Gosh there were a lot of horse and rider combos and not so combo's heading back from the cross country today over the 105, 95 and 80cm heights.

It looked like there was a high level of challenge going on across all of the heights.
I think we can safely say it was definitely a test!

Out for another day tomorrow with the 80s and 65cms
